Food is an incredibly important part of my life. I am a (novice) gardener, an (earnest) home cook and an (avid) admirer of all things made from scratch. The process by which plants go from tiny seed to field to table (to belly) is pretty amazing.
And so, I really wanted to impart all those things into my new images of fresh fruits. I was going for a lush, yet homemade feel to these images... Simplicity meets style.
Everything looks good enough to eat. Except whatever the third picture is of. It looks like some sort of root. Even though I have no idea what it is of the picture looks good. I like the contrast between the green table cloth, red-ish top, and the lightness brought in by the bottom.
ReplyDeleteI have decided that when we have a country kitchen of our very own, I want all of these pictures adorning the walls! I am actually lusting after the fruit, particularly the berries. Impressive.
